At maximum, a low-medium rating. Rooms very bland, lighting problems and the hot water was lacking. The air conditioning system was very problematic. It was either very hot or very cold. Night staff very rude and anapologetic, will definetly not stay again

popped in the 'american bar' on a couple of occasions on recent trip to baghdad they had cans/bottles beers for 8000 iraqi dinar...cans of amstel and heineken and bottles of corona and tuborg 't' beer...not a bad price in truth and served in cold glass staff were reasonably friendly and place had decent atmosphere with non intrusive music

This place is managed like in the 1950's. They gave me a tiny room with no light and loud AC. As soon as you speak to a lady at the reception, a man will pop in in the conversation and ask you what do you need even if your request is trivial. Happened twice to me. As if a male customer could not address a female employee... and the intruder expects you to rephrase your request while you already stated your needs. The reservation system is arcahaic. We had to pay one extra night for a room never used due to their disorganization. They also called me at 10 AM and asked me to check out under pretext they were full.. I managed to keep the room after complaining. Terrible place and terrible people.

I stay here 75 days, very good hotel, staff friendly, food perfect special the lamb, the chef of restaurant Nageb very friendly and helpful, room ok, cleaning every day,the pool very great . The waitress Dhay very nice and beautiful and serve you all time.

This has got to be the best hotel in Baghdad. The staff is highly professional and courteous. Their English is slightly limited but they make up with effort. I had no problem communicating. The amenities that's included is unbelievable. There is both an indoor and outdoor pool. There is a sauna and steam room. Their gym is top notch. The customer service is way above and beyond. The laundry is same day unless you ask them to come back the next. Someone comes by my room every evening and ask if my room was cleaned ok. I passed on cleaning the first day and was asked several times if I was sure. (Jet lag) As though not having daily service is unheard of. Their menu did not get old after nearly a month. Security is is very high. I recommend anyone staying in Baghdad stay here. Thanks everyone at the Baghdad Hotel!!
